  1. Oh, that's a great quote! I went through a phase where I read lots of Picoult's books -- she's a mesmerizing storyteller.

    1. Hamlette,
Isn't it fantastic? And I actually haven't read any of hers, but now my interest's definitely piqued. More for the TBR list!

    2. They're very engrossing, but a lot of them deal with unsavory subjects, which is why I eventually stopped reading them. Also, I'd get horribly caught up in the stories, and for the last hundred pages or so, I would be irritable and annoyed whenever I wasn't reading the books or if anyone interrupted me. Too emotionally taxing. But I'd like to try another one some day. The ones I read were The Tenth Circle, Nineteen Minutes, Change of Heart, and Plain Truth. I liked PT best.

  2. Excellent quote, Heidi. And that's something I definitely need to work on. I have far too many blank pages. :P

    1. Miss March,
Yes, LIKEWISE! And (with all the different times and seasons in life) one must sometimes remain relaxed about deadlines, but at the same time I found this such a succinct and pertinent reminder. :)
